The visitors can see on the stand of the company the results of research and development projects in applied superconductivity, wich are fulfilled in cooperation with the leading science organizations of Rosatom, Academy of science, educational universities and commercial companies – flywheels, fault current limiters, motors, cryo-technique, generators, electronics for medicine and communications.

The participants will learn about the nearest plans of the company in diversifying of research program and creating production of superconductors devises. Russian Superconductor Corporation will report about the current developments and their results at poster sessions.

We expect to conduct negotiations with the potential consumers of superconductors, strategic partners from the major energy companies and investors about collaboration and creation of research and industry cooperation, attraction of investments to the program «Superconductor industry».

General Director, Alexandr Katsay, says that State corporation «Rosatom» and Russian Superconductor Corporation have invested during last three years more than 100 mln rubles in this strategic program. The main directions of research was technologies of 2G HTS production, superconducting energy technique for Smart grids, devises for medicine.

«As of today some developed samples of superconductor technique have been tried. We are negotiating with major companies-consumers about testing them in the conditions of real systems of energy supply. As a results of the testing we are planning to define the start of superconductors delivery to the partners and clarify economic characteristics of it usage», - Alexandr Katsay says.

Last year Russian Superconductor Corporation as well presented its developments at RUSNANOTECH 2009. The participants were interested in the company stand and it let us confirm that the strategy was taken appropriatly.
